Who would you think would rip you off more for a lift installation, 4wheelparts or a Toyota dealership?

toss up.. But Toyota would probably be the bigger rip off.

Only if done before the sale. They add $2000 in parts here and mark it up $6000. My service department charges by the book/hour, so if the book says an install takes 3.1 man-hours that's what they'd charge.

I guess going to the self serve car wash and using the hand wand and a bucket of Duragloss car soap is not so bad after all, (Don't have to drag a power washer out)

The car wash I go to has that "Tri Gloss" foam soap that you can coat your truck with. I only used it twice and I cannot see the benefit of using it if I'm going to use a soapy bucket full of Duragloos car soap or Meguiar's car wash soap. I think the "Tri-Gloss" foam soap is just another way for the car wash owner to get some of your money.

Busy Weekend! I installed my Softopper and modular bed platform/storage boxes. I painted the aluminum structure of the Softopper and vinegar aged my new self- designed modular sleeping platform/storage boxes.

Very interested in the URD Spec U. Would you mind posting more pictures of the install? Would like to see the connection to the downpipes and how it passes through the cross member. It looks like it hangs down in the picture of the clamp and y pipe connection. How far does it hang down below the frame? Here is a thread I started asking for pictures and feedback on the Spec U, if you posted there is would be easy for others to find in the future.

and here we go. This is for the OME kit with 887 coils and AAL from Headstrong- From Travis at Hendrick Toyota of Concord

"The cost for replacing springs and absorbers with direct bolt-on components would be $450 plus alignment for total with tax and fees of $598."

That's pretty reasonable. I've never paid for an install, but based on time, seems about accurate

Thanks! Was installation pretty straight forward? Did it come with mounting hardware? (never mind I found this info) Much appreciated!

Swapped my fogs out for LED pods.

Now to wait for it to get dark so i can make sure they are aiming correctly.

Removal of factory fogs was pretty easy once i removed the grille. The brackets installed no problem. And the lights were plug and play. Overall satisfied so far!
