Google is your friend http://m.nittotire.com/light-truck-tires/?gclid=CPvt7K-nytQCFVG2wAodw0wN_A and from experience, the Terra Grappler G2 sucks in the rain. It does not hydroplane or anything, it just won't adhere to wet roads very good when pulling out into traffic or from a stoplight. I ran a set on my 4Runner and took them off after 18K miles and put Cooper AT3's on. Much better tire in the rain and snow.

I have nothing bad to say about their ridge grapplers. Lived in upstate ny (canada) and Alaska now. No issues with mud, sand, rain and ice/ snow. Ive owned toyo mts, and km2s as well.

The ridges are all terrains with aggressive patterns- one per side, and don't carry a terrible amount of noise. Can be bought in a C rating and aren't heavy like the Toyo or km2s are.

I would recommend these tires. Just my .02

/O2's. I have the E rated in 285/70/17. A little overkill and heavy since i dont tow anything, but the extra peace of mind is nice. I think ill go C rated next time to see the difference in ride quality and weight.

E rates will give you a stiff ride so go with C rated, if you aren't towing.

17" Method Grid Titanium rims w/ Pro Comp Sport A/T 265/70/17 tires, Mobtown Offroad ribbed Tailgate skin, installed LED lights in painted rear bumper black, faux TRD grill, color match grill surround. LEDs in map, license plate, center console, and dome lights. Anytime driving lite mod, debadged, vent visors, AA Maglite mounted under center console armrest. Antitheft hose clamp on tailgate, LED bed lighting kit. LED spot lights in lower front bumper. Weathertech floor mats. Painted various interior parts black, homemade 7 pin relocation bracket, Valet under door LEDS, CMC, SPC UCA, Bilstein 5100, OME 885, Headstrong AAL. Pop&Lock.
I have Pro-Comp Sport A/T 265/70/17 and they are load range E and I can confirm they ride stiff and given the opportunity I would buy a less stiff tire next time.

from my hours of reaseach and what i need/sounds like what u need too is ridge grapplers.

the just wanna see them in person.

looks are more important to me then ride.
might have to go with the trail grapplers if my current duratrac's look more aggressive then the ridges

First can you type in a non-twitter jargon? Kind of hard to read what you did/want. Second, smooth quiet stock ride and aggressive look do not go hand in hand. The more aggressive the tire the louder they will be period. Funny how the OP asks about 3 particular tires and the next post is surprise surprise a KO2 sales pitch, BFG's are some of the louder AT tires as they are the most agressive AT. If you want as close a good ride to stock stick with a P rated tire, going LT will make it ride rougher and load range E is even worse.

Search, tons of info out there asking the same question you have been asking. If you want an aggressive sidewall your ride, noise and mpg will suffer. Those 3 tires you posted are all different classes, the AT is the least aggressive (terra grappler) and will be the quietest and best riding, the Hybrids (ridge grappler) will be worse all around than the Terra Grappler and then the mud tire (trail grappler) will be worse yet. The more aggressive the tire the better off road and worse on in most aspects. Is this a street queen and you just want the look or do you regularly off road? If so what kind of terrain? Mud, sand, rocks, ect?

Take some time to type as well so we better understand what you want/look for.

Since you're considering 285/70/17.... have you considered the modifications the truck requires to keep them from rubbing?
