265/70/17 Tires rub a little when I turn sharp. I need to get that resolved. Also, thinking about adding a line-x bedliner but not wanting to spend $550 on it.

Very nice truck. Those rims look very sharp as well. I am betting your rim selection is the reason you are rubbing. The 3rd gen and 2nd gen back spacing is different than the 1st gen back spacing. I have 2nd gen rims on my 1st gen and they rub the frame at full crank. I just have to remember to stop turning before full crank. I just live with it.

The tire installer says Spacers won't work on here to eliminate the rubbing. Can anyone provide any comments or suggestions about ?

    Where does the rub occur?

Your guy may be right. Or not.

My last installers told me my tires would not clear up front. They fit perfectly, just as TW folks who'd gone ahead of me said they would.

I do run a different size than you. I have the 265 X 75-16's, so I am not sure how yours compare as far as height. The tire installer might think they will rub the inner fender with spacers. Not too sure about this though.

I have my standard OEM wheels and tire size and they slightly rub against the frame when turned all the way. A little does not matter; it's only the rubber against the frame at full turn. If the tire rubs against the upper control arm all the time it would be a concern. If the inside of the tire rubs, spacers should help. If the outside edge of the tire rubs at full turn against either the bumper in front or mud flap area in back, then spacers will make it worse.

get .75" "hub-centric" spacers. this moves the backspacing back to 4.5" from the 5.25" of the 3rd gen wheels. you will still "rub" a little a full turn but that's due to the increase of 1" tire diameter over stock. I just live with it

So I took a few pictures to show where it is rubbing. The tire shop says the lugs are too short for adding spacers. The driver side tire rubs the frame on the inside of the tire if I turn the wheels all the way. I don't think the guy at the tire shop knows very much about it but neither do I. I appreciate everyone's input.

The spacers have their own lug nuts. It sounds like a solution.

yeah mine rub there too, mine equate to 31.7" but I have 4.5" back space

^this, they come with open ended lugs to attach to the current hub/lug bolts. then you use your regular ones to attach to the wheel to the spacer. that's why you want "hub-centric" and not just disc spacers
