Automatic up/down Driver Window

Sorry super random, I'll keep it quick

the SR I test drove had auto DOWN driver window, and just plain power windows on the other three doors.

I've heard the SR5 has auto UP / DOWN driver window and auto DOWN on the other three.

Can anyone comfirm? This is standard SR5? Or is this something on a special tech package?

Should be auto up and down drivers and passengers only. Usually the tears aren't auto

That's why I was wondering. Can anyone with a basic 2016/17 SR5 confirm?

 

If you don't have the answer later in I'll check mine when I get out of work. I have my work car with me currently. I'm pretty sure in my OR I only have auto up/down on the fronts.

 

I can confirm the 2017 Limited is auto up/down for driver and front passenger only.

 

Can confirm SR is only auto down for the driver.

 

Thanks everyone, so this video must show some sort of tech package... because he certainly shows auto down for every window, and up for the driver as well

 

2016 SR5 is up/down on driver only (at least on mine)

 

I hae a limited it is Auto up/down for front seat positions only.

Based on your screencap above the Auto is for Driver only with the rest as power only.

Also in the vid about the 3:20 mark he states it also has power windows, the driver has one touch up and down with one touch down on all the rest.

I think he may have mis-spoke as I do not think that the rear seat aere "one touch down". Unless of course that one touch is holding down the button. I will confirm this at lunch in my truck.

Confirmed: it IS "one touch" as long as the touch does not stop till the window is all the way down.

 

My '17 sr5 only has auto down on the driver's door. None of other doors are auto down or up. I'm wondering what it would take besides programming and a switch maybe would be required to have all auto down and up.

 

I can 2nd this. Same on my SR5 Access Cab, 4 cylinder.

 

I think I recall seing a mod that did just that in one of the other forums.

There's 4 switches listed for '17 Tacoma's. Y fellow co worker has just purchased a trd sport and he States both his front windows are one touch down but not the rears. I was thinking the limited were all one touch. I see the switch for the trd pro is cheaper than mine thou. I'll have to go talk to my Toyota techs and see if they can tell me anything.

Jesus that looks like a lot of work.

 

No Tacomas have auto rear windows. I wish they did.
The salesman was wrong about the one touch on all the windows. The buttons with the white on the switch are auto.
