    enough to have fun

My roof is sealed without it, but it would look cleaner if I had the roof strips on haha

Hey @zscott I'm going to shoot you an email about my order. I need to add a couple things. Didn't know if it's easier for you just to add it to the main order or just make a separate one

I have the watherstrpping on mine and I drove around for a day without it and then put it on the next day. Wind nose is better but not drastically different, however I do like the look of it and its very high quality stuff. Don't see it falling off or wearing in the years to come.

I'm talking about the factory weather stripping that you have to drill though, the stuff in the channel.

Oh gotcha. I took the time to drill holes in it cause I think it looks cleaner with it IMO. Took longer than it did to assemble and install rack, so if your planning to keep it account for an hour + to deal with it.

I may end up doing it, I have a drill press and a good set of forstner bits so it should be easy

Yea if you have the tools it shouldn't be a problem for you. I used two alligator clamps and a 3/4 drill bit and it was not a smooth process. Took a lot longer than I would have liked but glad I did it.

Damn! Those thighmaster machines have gotten really beefy.
@zscott, FWIW you make an awesome product and I can't wait to add the rack to my truck. Yeah, I'm still going to wait until you offer a group buy, but this is the rack for me. Keep up the great work and good luck with the continued business.

A few of mine looked like that as well. Didn't turn out to be an issue.

Common problem due to workmanship errors at the factory. I had the same issue. Dealer retapped mine under warranty.

How long did it take them to service it?

About an hour since I showed up without an appointment. With an appointment, it should be really fast. They just have to drill out that overlap piece and then retap the hole to ensure the threads are in good shape
