So here's the best part about this for anyone playing the home game:

When we got done with my grill work I had two of those black plastic push-tabs left over that we could not for the life of us figure out where they went.

We did not have these when we started disassembly of the grill and front bumper...but damned if we didn't get everything back on, every bolt back in and every push-tab bracket re pushed and....left over pieces.

What you see in the pic is Will (crouching) and myself (lying under the front bumper) trying to figure out where the fucking things went and feeling like idiots.

    Good times.

Yeah, I remember later when he took his shirt off and it was like a prism...everything had this rainbow border to it, and those damn moths wouldn't stop bumping into him.

Good news guys!!! Looks like I'm gonna hold on to the AVIC, unless someone here wants it. Got two new brackets from a dude on here for $6 and found a company that specializes in the AVIC repairs and has a set fee of $100 to replace the gears/motor! Project AVIC is rescued!

ha ha, well, i think this time around, I'm just gonna take everything to the pros and let it be there problem to make to sure everything fits and doesn't jam! I'm sure they come across that more than we do, plus it'll be easier to let them do the component and amp install along with it.

Get a picture up of that AVIC install when you get a chance for those of us that weren't able to hang around and see it...

No problem bro will grab some tomorrow before I rip it back out. It looks good, but took some damage during the installation ha ha

But everything is fixable so we're good!

Looks like I'll be cruising head unit-less for a week :(

    Thanks man.

It took me at least an hour to do the tailgate, cause the damn symbols are made of rubber and you cant get fishing line underthem to get them off, so i was just peeling with my finger nails and the heat gun.
