I wonder if people are reading the consumer report about the 3rd gen...

Same here, my dealer typically had 3 Tacoma's, Saturday they had 12. The entire new car market is cooling off and lenders are tightening up on loans, so maybe a great time to buy coming soon?

For every person that actually posts on Tacoma world or Reddit probably 5 or more people read the sites through Google searches and never post anything.

All of the loyal Toyota fans already bought the car, and whole bunch of other people bought it because it looks really nice.

But complaints about reliability, poor power train performance and ridiculous fuel economy have become too loud for other people to ignore. The market is basically primed for the Nissan, GM and Ford (even Honda) to pounce of Toyota like tigers and stab it to death like Roman senators.

All the popular YouTube channels have also given it poor reviews.

This is the last Tacoma generation mark my words.

Dude, You are fooling yourself. They are still selling every Tacoma they get in Stock, My local dealer has 59 of them and they turn those numbers over every couple weeks. Car market may be cooling off, but Tacoma's are here to stay and no way in hell is this the last generation. 90% of buyers are looking for a small truck, like Toyota and never read a consumer report and even if something was wrong with their truck would never notice enough to complain and get fixed. Less then 10% of consumers are the people that pay close enough attention to give a shit. They are lemmings.

My local dealer has over 35 3rd gens on their lot. They've had about that amount or more for quite a few months. Toyota state so it's not the only dealer like that too ha

I noticed many Tacomas on the dealer lots too. The Tacoma brand isnt going to survive the devastation that is being brought to its name. It's over.

Attack Frontier... Raptor Ranger... It doesn't matter... Mitsubishi or even Kia could come out with a mid-size truck tomorrow and wipe the floor with the Tacoma.

And now these lemmings will have the Colorado Zr2, Attack Frontier and Raptor Ranger to chose from.

Keeping thinking that way. When the Tacoma's high resale value falls through the floor, you'll be saying, "hey that Kamill.Bidan guy was right".

Meanwhile, I will be in my new 2019 Raptor Ranger going uphill in 5th gear at 2k RPM while turd gen owners are struggling at 6k rpm to even keep up with me.

My prediction is that the Zr2, baby Raptor, and Frontier will canibalize the full size numbers more than the Tacoma numbers.
