That's what my business line was. And it'll be nice and easy to disconnect that line... Actually need to do that tonight.

Just set it up via any of the computer apps (I.E Lync, Skype, etc...) and you can have the call auto-forwarded to your cell. After hours it rings to your answering machine on the computer and you don't see it. Any carrier can set that up. You can set it up yourself as well.

 

Yeah I'm sure there's a bunch of options, I've only had experience with Google voice and know it's all free.

 

Has anyone ordered from jet.com before?

I've seen it advertised all over but was wondering if it's legit and how's the shipping speed.

 

WalMart bought it last year. I have never actually used it.

 

I ordered from Jet, it seemed as good as Amazon, but the more you order the cheaper it is.

 

Only used it once because they give you a discount your first time. It was fine.

 

With good work, better prices and the fact that ya used to work for a center and have built a good word of mouth I'd say go for it. When I was at advance auto in Florida we had a guy that did exactly that. He was good and just gave out his phone # and maybe make a biz card for them to hand out

 

Word of mouth is great, I get 98% of my business from that alone. Leaving your card with vendors is another good way to get business.
Be careful of passing out cards at your current work or calling customers of your current employer, due to non-solicitation/non-compete laws.
They can call you, that's perfectly legal. You are required to wait a few months before you can actively call existing customers of your former employer. New customers are up for grabs.

 

Only ever used 'em to get a stupid low price on tires, then force Discount to price match.

 

From word of mouth, sure depending who told me and how thier experience was.

Craigslist not so much. Just because im picky about who works on my truck.

Just wondering if anyone's run them, or knows anyone who's run them, or really has heard anything about them

 

Never ran them but Les Schwab sells them. I'd call and price check before buying used. They are extremely inexpensive.

Word of mouth gets them in the door, it's up to the person to maintain their reputation though.

If you want to try something cheaper, maybe treadwright. I ran them before and they were pretty good.

 

Selling my Leer 100r Topper $850. LED Light lense is cracked and there are some light scratches. Overall super clean. Carpeted interior, sliding back window, screened sliding windows. Topper is located in Berthoud, Co currently and I live in Arvada.
