Any of you Santa Rosa dweebs wanna grab food? I'm picking up the tent in Sausalito at 5. Might kill a few hours so I don't have to drive in traffic the whole afternoon

didn't the kids go through some spinner-like phase a few years ago with some sci-fi themed beyblades or something? basically tops, the goal was to upset the other guys top ? and back in the 1960s, there was Battling Tops!

What field? My cousin and roommate in college was an ME major and worked for LAM before going into medical devices. A lot of my buddies were ME guys too. Guys I know currently work in these fields:

    - Medical devices
    - Undersea communications (L-3 Maripro)
    - HVAC (the dark side)

If your interested, LMK and I'll ask them.

    Hey Norcal.

Any recommendations for a leaf spring shop in the area?

I am in need of a new leaf pack that can support my flippac.

Chris, there's a guy on IG (Blueline Overland) that is selling an All Pro Expedition pack.

The OME Dakars were fine for my old Flippac and about 500 lbs of gear/ cabinets. If you're going to go with a swingout, the All Pro Expo 2 pack or a custom pack would work.

I went to A-1 Springs in Oakland, but they weren't very technical. Not saying that they would do a bad job, but I didn't want to risk it with guessing.

Thanks! When you were running the Dakars, did you also put the helper on? or just the stock 5 leaf? Did it raise the rear end? I am trying to keep the existing rear bilsteins on the TX Baja, and I worry to tall of a spring will be longer than the stroke.

I reached out to Bill at Alcan Springs to see what a custom pack would do, but still worry that without a shop being able to see it and work on it, it might be hit or miss.
