because i have only wheeled with you once.
I don't know how you drive but as i said some of you guys dose not mean i was referring to how you drive. Your RV on wheels dosnt compare to most rigs as far as how parts will last either. but from what i have seen in the last few yrs with wheeling with the TW groups is alot of ( hammer down ) i drive like i stole it.
My point is that not all CV's are bad.
Trails done since i put an aftermarket CV in
    Hell Hole
slick rock 2 times and once backwards
    eagle lakes 3 time
    signal peak 2 times
sand mountain ( by the way is awesome hitting the bottom at 70 and almost making it to the top before bogging out and turning back down slope.)
pismo 2 times 4 day trips
snow wheeling 7 or 8 trips at least
    a few trips PC
    holster hills
    frank rains
a few other i cant think of the names but there nothing big.
and knock on wood but have only broke my rear brake shoe wheeling, before the locker.
I know my list is small compared to yours but it shows that i do wheel. not a RV like you but i do get out.

if you can make aftermarket work then thats cool, can buy two for the price of one oem with enough left for tacos for a month. i tried. they no like me. i could still drive on them after they failed though and found them blown when looking for grinding.

That is a cool video! Trucks looked good!

Little sluice look different in this video. Did you happen to go right after the Jeep jamboree?

the one i pulled is in good shape boots are are old as fuck and i planed on re booting it and swapping it back, just never got around to it since i already have one that i re booted that i picked up at a junk yard. i believe it was the cardon brand from rock auto. i read somewhere others had good luck with them so i went for it at less then $100 bucks i figured fuck it. and well now its been a proven good part for me. i should look and see what one it was. the boots are better then stock so far.

Thanks for the info Jason. Found a leaking outer boot yesterday. Not a gaping hole, but grease was thrown. What a fucking deal. Rockauto.

I hope you have the same luck as me. so far so good. but I baby my drive train. I have seen many people snap axels. and fuck it you will have your oEM to put back if it breaks. im pretty good at swapping them now so that doesn't bother me anymore.

Do any of you guys use CVJ axel remanufactured OEM? They have silicon inner boots. I've had mine for about 20,000 miles. I don't think I wheel as much or as hard as some of you guys but they're holding up for me pretty well.

After the core charge they're about $130 each.
