Doesn't that clear background, yellow over time?

Yeah, noticed it on mine. I have a white truck that was 5 months old when I pulled them off. The short bed looks longer without the graphics too.

I left the lower stone chip clear appliqués on though, and they're yellowed a bit already. The yellowing probably is less noticeable on other colors. There was quite a noticeable faint black outline of buildup if I didn't clean the edges of the clear vinyl material.

Not if it is UV protected. The OEM decals are on clear background and never heard of them yellowing.

So I hope I hear back from Cboy808 soon. Also, OEM does not make them in all black. I checked several dealer lots and all are either silver/grey combo for darker vehicles or have the 4x4 in red with some black lettering. So I am down to either Cboy or custom. Local decal/sign shop wants $170. Maybe I can get the insurance to pay since my restoration is still incomplete without the decals.

They're only like $40 through Cboy, and someone mentioned he;s on vacay and gets back tomorrow.

I got mine from @CBoy808 also. Great Decals. THE ONLY THING I dislike about this style is that each individual letter and number is a decal. When I was washing my truck, I can see the sharp corners of letter's and number's start to peel up. The rag or sponge will grab the corners. The dealer/factory decal is one large piece....Kinda prefer that...

Exactly why I want one piece, printed on clear background.

I'm sorry to say it, but you must have not prepped correctly before install. I had some of his installed for years and never had an issue with them peeling back. This was with frequent washes.

When I say peeling back, I Don't mean a lot, just the sharp tips and that's all. Seems like rasgs get caught on them

Ahh, gotcha. Can't say I've noticed that happening, but I haven't looked either.

    Here's my 2... or maybe 1 cent.
I went with Cboy808. Too much risk of buying crap products on eBay. I tried it with one sticker in particular and they were garbage.

Anyway, I bought some 3x5 flags and some military style bedside decals. Everything from Cboy808 was high-quality and top-notch. They did not have the clear background because it looks kind of cheesy to me, that's subjective of course. So I guess they were die-cut, as some of you've been saying.

As far as removal goes, I got one of those super hot halogen shop lights and set it up on a ladder about an inch from the decal for a couple minutes until it was hot to the touch and I just peeled it off. Then I used 3M adhesive remover to remove the residue. It probably took 5 minutes per decal by doing it this way. Followed it with a good quality wax/ sealant before putting the new stickers on.

I got a spray bottle, filled it with water and put a couple pumps of liquid hand soap in it, very little soap.
I measured the exact spot and marked it with blue painting tape. Then I sprayed the clean surface with the solution, peeled the sticker backing ang sprayed the adhesive side of the sticker, applied it and squeegeed out the water with my drivers license.

I've read where people have had corners coming up on the die-cut stickers. If you do everything I just explained and let the sticker cure in the sun for a couple days, it won't do it. I've been through car washes and scrubbed those stickers with a washing mitt and it has not come up anywhere. Just like with anything, it's all about the prep and the details.
Just save yourself the time and hassle and go with Cboy808. His stuff is awesome.
