    King 14" 700lb coils

    Apparently they aren't the "correct" coils mine have 11 and the others have 9...people have used these ones before though. With 9 coils it's easier to get the uca to not hit.

    My main concern is coil bind but I think I'm ok

    I'm going to throw this out there and say 700lb springs are too much for your build. Do you still have the stock springs (13"x600)? Why did you swap them?

    The 700lb springs feel amazing...I had a insane amount of preload with 600s

    I'm running a front bumper and steel skid...winch will be soon.

    Yep they're probably right for you then. I recently put on 650lb springs on my build and they are great with bumpers and skids and a little over an inch of preload. You are probably pretty good with the 700's and almost no preload

    After the winch I should be sitting almost perfect height..may lower it a tad

    Not used to this mid travel crap lol

    You'll figure it out. Mid travel isn't too complicated and a good set up will perform very well.

    The spring is a round wire that's been twisted into a spiral, around the shock. So the most it can possibly compress is the thickness of the wire times the number of loops in the spiral.

    lol I understand it now....but no way of figuring out the collapsed length between spring seats without taking the coil off.

    Get the compressed legth from king, and subtract off the parts above the adjustment ring (where you have it set) and below the spring seat.

    You can also measure between the spring seats how they are sitting now, then subtract how much shock shaft is still showing

    Honestly thinking about just selling the fox shocks...I have the original springs and king 600lb springs too

    Anyone interested?

    Was planning to get king coilovers anyways

    3 inch toytec 5100 SPC uca's Pelfreybilt front plate bumper with center hoop Pelfreybilt rear plate bumper with swing out B.A.M.F. sliders with kick out Mobtown ifs and trans skid. 33's with rims that are to large.
    hey so I'm getting ready to get some dakars and with the new part # I'm thinking of going with the "heavy" but it says designed for like a 600lb constant load. Now I have about 700lb in plate armor but that's not all in the rear like they imply ??? Any idea's
