Picked up and mounted my GoPro dashcam/recording setup. Still need a skeleton case and long charge cord, but it all works at the moment.

That one is for sure the worst one I've seen on TW. Based on how many I've seen on here, I called USAA and add full coverage on glass and it was only an additional $20/year. Stupid cheap in my eyes.. I'm guessing because of the steepness of the windshield, that this is a common occurrence.

Having some technical difficulties with the picture. Setup is simple though, camera is a Hero3 mounted to the factory GoPro Mount on the windshield right of the mirror. I might do a writeup if I go to permanent integrated power.

Discovered the lens over one of my fog lights was shattered... so what better excuse to upgrade to some Baja Designs Squadron-R sports? Went with the Amber/Wide Cornering design. Also took down the RTT so I could park in the garage during the 120 degree days..

Had a 10K service appointment and took my truck in this morning (Frank Toyota in San Diego) and asked them nicely to replace the plastic oil filter cap and drain valve w/ the new metal ones I've bought after seeing everybody here suggesting to buy them. Got told that they need $140 bucks to do that . Told me that they won't put after market parts on the truck under warranty.
It says Genuine Toyota right there on the packaging. I said no thank-you and that I'd change my oil myself and left . Geez!

I would try Kearny Mesa Toyota. I've had pretty solid service from them so far. I was not impressed with Frank Toyota in my limited experience. I couldn't even get them to call me back or respond to emails when I was 100% ready to buy a truck they had on the lot.

I figured positive dealership experiences were unicorn-rare so it was good to spread the word. Not saying they won't give you the same BS story but my SA there was pretty on the ball with the issues I've had.

Installed my 30", Ditch lights, the 3 little ambers (which turned out to bed red so new harness coming up) in the grille, and switch pro 8100 this weekend. :woot:
Rewired the fogs to the SP too instead of the cheap Rigid switch.
Also threw in the Smittybilt D Ring shackle. :muscleflexing:

Ran out of time but I still have a rock light kit, bed lights to install, and reverse lights to flush mount in the rear bumper.

I would of went to another dealership and tried there service dept. - And I darn sure would not go back to the dealership that would not install the drain valve. I would pay a tow bill halfway across the state 1st. (If my truck broke down after warranty)
