Alabama meet and shoot day

Yeah its on my family's land. Im gonna do a shoulder roast for some sandwiches, havent planned out anything else after that; prolly should start gettin some other food items spoken for tho.

 

Just seeing if anyone else was interest in gettin in in my ammo order?
9mm fmjs were ~$8-9(depending on steel or brass case) per 50
38 spl RN lead 158 gr brass case were $12.50 for 50
223 were ~$5 for 20 fmj steel case
.308 were ~$9 for 20 fmj steel case
I think im gonna grab an extra box of 45-70 and a box or 2 of .243 (they had them for $12 for 90 ppu soft points may wind up baggin a deer or two this year if they shoot well).
No big bore guys out there or different ars?

 

I am good on ammo hope to see you guys there when will we know a exact time and place and all.

 

I'm down for this, but my problem is I can't afford ammo right now and don't want to deplete my reserves. I'd be happy to bring whatever guns yall want to shoot, but I can't provide ammo. I myself will probably only shoot mainly 22 and some 9. Let me know

 

I mean I can bring ammo, but would have to be pretty Jewish about being reimbursed/trading. Pistol calibers I'm not too worried about. But 300blk, .308, and even 5.56 get expensive pretty quick. You shoot a mag through the SCAR and realize it cost however much for 20rnds of .308 and it lasted 10 seconds lol.

 

Might make it more interesting if we had some fun competitions. Like everyone throw in the pot and first one to hit the plate @ 100yds with pistol wins or some other shit. I'll buy a pistol tree. Ted need a long range comp with Andrews targets. How far can we shoot on this property?

 

Depends on where my dad has the cows could be 700 may be just 500 ish

I should be able to make this. I don't believe I have any plans on this date. I don't own many guns, but I'd like to come hang for the social aspect anyway.

I got a 1 inch thick by ~1 foot square steel plate with chain links welded on if anyone needs a target.
