Keeping a close eye on my coolant temp during this fucking inferno in AZ week. 103˚ at 10am on my way to work this morning. Coolant right around 195˚ even when going 70 on the freeway.
No pics because I'm not one of those that likes to fiddle with my phone while hauling ass on the road.

It's days like today that it's painfully obvious that I do indeed, live in Satan's Skillet.

Also, my refrigerator died. I guess I'll be going to Best Buy and asking them, "What can you deliver in the next 72 hours?"

 

I saw yall are shooting for the all time record high temp this week. Looks like fun!

Heck, my 01 Ranger's coolant temp was 250 normally . At 270 it shutdown the A/C, 280 was limp mode. It had both an engine driven fan and an electric one. No radiator cap as the system ran through an elaborate degass bottle. Coolant was pure glycol. It was a good truck, but it ate radiators, pumps and coolant lines.

 

Closet I can find is charcoal gray metallic and that's not a perfect match. My plan was to just paint or derp it black

 

Man that's a bummer. I think im going to wrap it black then. Not competent enough to paint it

 

I made things sound better.
