    Yeah, rebuilds.

They have an option for a silicon inner boot that's for lifted trucks with higher angle CVs too.

:fingerscrossed: The plan is to swap the cv and keep the other new one in the truck as a spare. Then put the OEM one and new boots on the "projects I'll never get to" shelf in my garage.

Just being realistic. Or maybe save the reboot as an easy mod day project with help from someone who has more experience. I'll bring a folding table.

fuck those boots. bought 2 OEM spares from another TW member here. I'm not sure if the boots were for LT but the boot ripped the very next day. Whack! I swear by @SDHQ OFFROAD boots. Thick and beasty!

Anybody want a CVJ LT boot?? I have one in the garage. Has some grease. OTPHJ and its yours.

Honestly I'm not sure I just work in the shop. Emailing sales@lowrangeoffroad.com would be your best bet.

Thats what one of my spares is. Boots are still good but getting old so a re boot would be good. I already rebooted a spare OEM from a junk yard.the tool i bought to crimp the bands sucked and broke i just need to find someone with that tool the cheapo tool sucked.

Don't I know it. I never got to run it before (too afraid to break) but my brother did it a few times.

Here it is in 2015 for the Marlin Crawler weekend. There was a huge hole right before the big rock in the middle.

Two OEM cv's to reboot here. Shaffer's wanted $200 labor. I'll do it myself.

Your boots and my boots should totally party!

So hell hole elevation tops out at just over 5600'. Should be snow free. Wassup with a trip soon?
