    Hey guys, looking to get a set of spacers. Ive read the pros and cons of the wheel bearing debate. Not looking to see everyone battle over that. Just wanted to make sure 1.25 spacers will work fine on a stock 2017 TRD OR without any rubbing ect. Also, as I have the 4x4, I can get HUB Centric ones correct?

    Also, where do you guys buy from for best price? I am looking around at Spidertrax, if there are any cheaper options of similar quality I am open to suggestions. I will not be off roading the truck much. Just the basic occasional dirt roads to get to the hunting blind and what not.

    Got any suggestions opposed to this that wont break the bank, that will pull the tires out flush with the fenders?

    I havent the slightest clue what type of rims to get to do this, that will also fit my stock tires.

    Mines an 09, but just by switching from the taco rims to FJ rims brought me out pretty darn close to flush with the flares based the FJ rim backspacing...

    I would like to be able to keep my stock tires as they are brand new and swap them over onto a new set of rims if i went this route.
    What size of rims am I looking at? 16inch. 7" width?

    So I assume with 265/70/16 I can get a rim with about 8in width and be good.

    What am i looking for in terms of offset?

    I made a new post over in the tires and wheels section, I feel I am just best off saving up and getting rims to accomplish this task. Just need to find out what size rim will work with my 265/70/16 tires, they have 1200 miles on them. also need to learn about offset.

    There is nothing wrong with getting wheel spacers, just make sure you get hub centric ones and from a reputable company and properly install them.

    There is no difference between wheel spacers or rims with equal backspacing to the spacers, when it comes to wear and tear on your wheel bearings as some people will tell you.

    I have BORA spacers on 295 75 16's and have had no problems at all. I have the 0.75 ones just make sure sure to use loctight and torque correctly.

    @Boris20

    The instructions for BORA spacers DO NOT call for loctite. I have these in the 1" variety and have installed them as recommended by Motorsport Tech with zero issues.

    Agreed. Bora spacers, no loctite.

    2015...I just put them on last week after my suspension install (55k kms). They are a temporary fix until I get new TRD Pro wheels next year.

    If you absolutely must go about it the wrong way you'll be best off with bora or spidertrax. Hubcentric takes some load off the lugs

    Can you suggest me a good place to buy rims? looking at 16" dia 8"wide 6x6.5 bolt pattern. Taking suggestions on brands. Found some Pro Comps 31 for under 400$ for a set.
