I remember when I took out the stock speakers, that was my same reaction. Shit was so weak. That's good to know about the sound deadner. I've been wanting to install some for a long time now. How much did you use? and what brand?

 

What do you think Jim? Good call on the hoist for the top box. That bitch is heavy.

 

Real good. For the size and quality it should be double the price. Drawer slides are real good, casters are real good. Of course, have to see how it moves with about 2000lbs in it.

Not keying the boxes alike is kinda dumb though.

 

That's weird, mine are keyed the same. It's a bitch to get moving when it full, but the caster are so good it's also a bitch to stop. Also because of the texture of the finish most stickers don't stay stuck to it.

 

It's really not that big of a deal, I'm not gonna lock it anyway.

Three sheets per door. One sheet on the inside of the door, and two to cover the outside.

 

I was being creepy eyeballing one of your trucks. One of the Kirklanders. 132nd behind the hospital until 132nd 11:45 today. Black Civic behind ya.

Silver, lifted, Kings underneath, shell, probably 35s, lots of stickers, snorkel. Bumpers and sliders painted to match. Too much to list.

Anyone have experience with the Badlands bumpers folks? Looking at some of their products online.

 

Has anyone had to deal with Tepui customer service? My ayer started leaking at the rally and I wanted to see how generous they might be.

 

Did you upgrade the HU or add amps too? I'm wondering because I'm no audiophile but would like some better sound out of the stock unit.

No amp or head unit yet. I do plan to do that in the future, but for now I wanted to at least get the new speakers in. I spent just a little over $200 for everything and it was well worth the time and money. I made a little "build thread" for the stereo if you want more details:

Theyll do just about anything you want it sounds and customize it to your like.

 

They seem to have changed their ways over the last 10yrs or more. Haven't heard that name in quite a while.
