Hot damn, you are my kind of man. Pitfaced BBQ rub being used in a mini-WSM?!?!? I made one of those little guys a while back and ended up giving it to a friend to get him started in BBQ. They are pretty cool. Yours looks to be a little better built than mine, though. I like the handle on the exhaust.

VERY cool. Looking forward to seeing more cooks out of that little bugger.

I heard the spicy version is pretty good.

I certainly can't take credit for the Idea. I love it though, I have been toying around with using a Thermometer/fan with it. Don't know that I really need to though.

So I have to ask. When you got the claws in did you put them in your hands and pretend you were Wolverine from X-Men?

I may or may not have done this when I got mine. :p

Today I received the Charcoal Companion rack that's linked on the bottom of this thread. Damn thing is hefty...

Also, I bought a 14" WSM for portability purposes.

If you're regretting that WSM purchase too much I'll take it off your hands.

Smart move on the 14 if you can swing it. You can make your own portable version out of other stuff, but wtf, an actual WSM at a campsite can't be beat :)

I have the 14" WSM too. Half the time it's the perfect size and half the time :angrygirl:

I think the next size up 18.5" would be ideal. The 22" is just crazy big.

This is why I bought it. We don't camp as much as we used to since our son is still too young but he's almost at the age that I can look forward to camp trips with him. We do still travel a lot though so this'll be nice to bring.

I have the 18" already and only just did my first real smoke on it this last weekend. I've always been a self-proclaimed grill master and I don't know why I've waited so long to do real BBQ.
