Can we expect any major design changes? I am waiting for a CabRack to be delivered but intended to eventually order a rack for my shell as well. I can go ahead and order it if the design is going to change and a style down the road will not line up correctly.

No design changes will be happening in the foreseeable future. The current version is proven and tested.

They will have the choice to go either route. Not sure what they have decided yet.

@zscott, Congratulations on the successful sale of your business. I can only hope this is a good thing for consumers.
As mentioned previously, I was holding out for a group buy or sale of some kind, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. For those of us who have been on the fence but aren't in an immediate need, do we pull the trigger now knowing what we'll be getting (which is still an assumption at this point) or hold off to see what CBI can do?
Obviously the agreements made between you and CBI are between you two, but whatever guidance you can provide to help us make a fiscally-wise choice during this transition would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks and congrats!

Idaho Falls, ID (June 20, 2017) - CBI Offroad Fab is excited to announce the acquisition of Prinsu Design Studios, a privately owned, Utah-based company which designs, develops, and builds roof racks primarily for the Toyota vehicle market. CBI Offroad plans to continue offering the same great roof racks and accessories that Prinsu is known for while improving the overall customer experience. One of the biggest focuses will be on reducing lead times so that product is on the shelf and ready to ship. CBI Offroad will retain the current Prinsu name and all current products that are offered.

“We are so excited for this opportunity to sell and distribute the Prinsu brand of racks,” said Nathan Wright, CBI Offroad CEO and co-owner. “Zach has built an incredible product that functions very well and looks great on all of our Toyota vehicles! We are excited to build on this foundation that he has started by adding new product lines and improving product availability to enthusiast all over! Our goal is to continue to add to the excellence that Prinsu Design Studios is known for and broaden the application of these highly functional racks.”

The transition will take place over the next two months, including moving the company operations from Utah to CBI Offroad’s headquarters in Idaho Falls, ID. We invite those who are not familiar with the Prinsu Design roof racks to please check them out at: http://www.prinsudesignstudio.com/

Great move by Zach IMHO. And I've always had good experiences with CBI. I already have my rack so I can't complain if prices go up, but lets hope not for all those future buyers. Such a great rack...on my 4R :)

What changes will CBI make? Do I need to order my shell's rack now so it matches my existing rack?

    What about a price increase/decrease?

So far Zach said there won't be any change but as far as price goes it's up to CBI. He told them he tried to make them as cheap as possible and they know that
