I've wheeled with some friends that have badland bumpers and they have held up really well to the abuse he has put them through.

Ive heard the winch mounting and bracing is superb but ive never compared it to another

 

I know Cody uses all DOM tubing. He'll be doing my 3 link on the new build next month now that we've worked out all the kinks in my friends cruiser

 

Sounds like I need to pick up the phone and call them.

 

I'm thinking about heading there to see what they can do (if anything) to add a swing out on my spaghetti HC bumper...

I think I ordered my bumper on a mid day Friday and it was done on Wednesday.

 

Yeah they've gotten to be really quick. Cody hired a guy named Cameron who's a really good welder I hear so lead times are even less.

 

I'd be interested in what you find out, Benjamin. I'm anxious to see what can be done in general about adding a swing out on my bumper.

Yes I have all their armor on my 98 4Runner. Front bumper, sliders and rear swingout tire carrier. Cody is the guy to talk to. Good people and great customer service

Its worth upgrading the speakers even if you arent doing a headunit/amp right away IMO. I did mine first and it was a nice improvement. Was even better with a nice headunit. Someday I might add an amp but meh Im pretty happy with it now

 

Any of you guys that upgraded speakers come from a jbl factory setup? Everything I hear about upgrading from the jbl is a pita. Just replacing my hu was a chore but not terrible once I had all the right converters etc.

 

Those of you with sliders: how close do they come to the pinch rail along the bottom of the cab?

 

1/4" but I built them and welded them on myself.

 

Okay, good. That's about how close mine will be. Wanted to make sure I wasn't putting them too close.

 

I've seen some that were touching and I seen some were they notched the pinch weld. I wanted mine so my short wife could use it as a step

 

We're in the same boat. Obviously I want them for bashing on rocks and trees, but the other 99% of their life will be spent being used as a step.
