I ran a simular scenario about the Harlan trip past a buddy who's a videographer for KET. First words out of his mouth were in regards to drinking and/or "personal behavior".

    My reply was, "Uh.."

I watch any wheeling show, no matter how bad it is really, so my vote would be I'd watch every episode of it. For sure if I was even in it lol. I think it'd be awesome.

I was looking at something relatively cheap but ok quality to try out hammocking before I just replace my tent. I set it up in the yard last night and it seemed alright. I also needed an 11ft because apparently ENOs (and other 9' hammocks) are less than comfortable for people 6' or taller. I liked this cause it was advertised as super easy to hang (it is) and it was the right size and right price.

I guess size really does matter then!
Me being tall like you, I didn't know that was an issue

I'm glad I did the research. I almost bought into the ENO ecosystem (enosystem?) when REI had a summer sale a few weeks back, and I would have hated dropping all that money on something that ended up being not comfortable

No worries. I also like that the stuff sack is built into the hammock so I'm not invited to lose it somewhere.

So is there any point or need to bring our ezups? Since we have to setup and break camp each day.
Like Matt said, I probably won't leave anything unsupervised

    But DYF in RRG?
    Under yours
    Fuck Ohio State...
Reckon I'll leave mine at home then too.
I'll rig up the big tarp I have with some cut (already dead cuz State Park) wood poles and leave it up, it's Harbor Freight brand so if someone wants to steal, they're dumb and need it apparently. It's a big tarp, we can all huddle under it! Unless we aren't camping in the same spot every night?

May still bring mine, pending bed space. Not hauling 3 pallets and cold weather gear will free up a good bit of room

If Saturday turns out to be a flood, I'm headed to a shelter house @ Natural Bridge State Park to fix lunch and watch it rain. There's a couple of them that you can park within a few feet. Not setting up a tent or EZ UP in. Pouring rain.

I will have as many golf umbrella's as I can get my hands on.
