He said he paid $32,900 + Tax...no dealer fees.

TaxTagLicense is not the same as " dealer doc fees." Those are just BS fees to make the dealer money so they should be included to compare actual prices between dealers. As far as I'm concerned "Doc Fees" should be included in the price you paid....TTL should not. YMMV :)

No, I didn't want a sunroof cause it lowers the cab ceiling. This truck already feels cramped compared to my 2005 Tundra. I am unimpressed with the Entune stereo though. The OEM JBL in my Tundra sounded MUCH better.

Toyota never really had an impressive entune infortainment system. The American brands systems are better with exception of the Chrysler vehicles.

I was looking at the following 2017 Tacoma Sport 4X2

    - Premium & Technology Package w/JBL Audio
    - Tow Package
    - Carpet Floor mats
    - TRD Sport Package

    MSRP $36,823

I got them down to $32,500 before TTL
So with all the TTL included in the price it comes out to be $36,305 OTD.

It seems like a good deal to me, but not sure. What do you guys think?

I bought this in 2016 - $30k plus tax, extend warranty ($2k). No other options. So, yes, like others, the demand is exceeding supply to some degree. Dealer took $1,000 off Internet price at time of purchase.. choke Tacoma's on the road. Strong resell.

I know it was a while ago already, but, where did you get dealers email addresses? All the dealerships I looked at, don't list their emails. They all have contact sheets that I have to fill out and provide them with my email...

Those which didn't provide an email on their website in their about-us or meet-the-staff sections, I filled the form with my throwaway email address and it wasn't long before I had a couple email addresses. Nearly all of them seemed to have a salesperson email then a manager would follow up. In their email would be their direct address.

As I allude to above -- create a new throwaway email when messing with dealers. NEVER give them your real email address. Gmail or outlook.com both make it easy to create a new address to use for the time being.

I also use a google voice number if I want to hear their voice mails; otherwise if the form requires a phone number I just put in their dealership phone number... ;)

Thanks for quick reply. Yeah, the 15 dealers I want to contact, unfortunately don't list their email. I figured that maybe there was a shortcut (like internetsales@dealership.yota... lol) that I wasn't aware of . So yeah, I have a new mail set up already and I'm about to start writing away.

There's also the old fashioned way of calling them up and asking the receptionist... :)
