Well bummer! I just checked on mine and its shown on the septic map for me. But every place is different.

Those are the awesome finds....when someone just doesnt know how cheap/easy it would be to fix so they offload things for cheap

Ah, so it is. The guy who was over said minimum 12 to install it, but that could have been a different brand and model he had experience with. Or he was talking out his ass. I thought maybe a little more room is needed that the actual box width because you'd need to slip it over the end of the bar, but it looks like they've minimized that with the way the collars install.

Maybe it feeds the potential MIL suite area along with the other utilities?

Still not sure where it runs. But I did find something today... I uncovered (what I thought was) the septic cover, only to discover some sort of pump mechanical stuff in the hole. What Im thinking is that the two places (our house and the empty site) share the leach field. I think it may have its own tank, but I see no place for a second leach field. Im wondering if this is a pump to push the waste over to the main leach field? If thats the case, it would likely have to be primed, therefore water runs to it?? I dunno. I think Ive tracked down the former homeowner who would have had it installed, waiting for a reply.

I have my pressure treated deck prepped for staining. I washed and brightened on Sunday with a restore a deck kit. I'm using armstrong clark oil based semi transparent.
It rained last night, today was sunny and warm and tomorrow looks decent. Do you guys think it's ok to stain tomorrow? If not I pretty much need to wait til I have time next week. Edit...the decking has been installed for about 10 months. This is the first time it will be stained.

I just need to do the railings and some touch ups on vertical surfaces. Glad to be done.
I was really impressed with the Armstrong Clark stain. Went on easy and very evenly. We'll see how it holds up.

If the end of the pipe is not capped off, you'll hear water running constantly through the valve............. then you'll find a surprise somewhere on the property.
