Same here 60 minutes came much later though. And no pizza it was get ready for school on Monday night for us. Couldn't watch TV until everything was ready and chores done.

Bear is my first thought too. Don't think coyote. If it is Yote it will have hair in it from mice and other critters.

 

And who goes to north Korea for vacation anyways. .. really

 

After a lifetime in the Arizona desert, mainly in the Valley of The Sun with some years spent farming south of Coolidge as well as ranching with my dad in Yuma county, I know what you mean about HOT. That's a major reason that I pulled up stakes in the Valley and moved lock, stock and barrel to the White Mountains going on 5 years ago.

Had family up here visiting over Fathers Day weekend, some from Scottsdale, and when they finally headed back down the hill they all said they wanted to stay here on the Rim and enjoy the pleasant weather. The Valley is way too hot for man or beast this time of year, and it's on tap to get hotter yet. So I felt sorry for them as they pulled away heading towards the blast furnace of the desert floor.

But as hot as the Valley gets in the summer, Colorado River communities like Blythe, Yuma and Bullhead City are often much hotter still. So I don't envy you desert flatlanders in the least this time of year!

I live in the worst of both worlds. Gets too hot in the summer, and gets too cold in the winter.
