Yeah... I would hate to hear @CBI Offroad Fab come out and say "Thanks Zach, we're jacking your price up by $200/each", but that's business. Oh well. :pout:

Hopefully an introductory GB. That'd be nice, one big hurrah to kick it off

Everyone has to make money, but before everyone gets butthurt about a price increase, maybe try waiting and see if there is one, and how much.

Businesses don't operate for free, and this will streamline production. 2 doors to keep open instead of 1, now.. but beats the alternative of waiting, waiting, and waiting.

Equipment and manpower are already accounted for in the current price.

Arguably, efficiency leads to reduced cost of manufacture, which could lead to lower prices.

    Could.

CBI has economy of scale that Zach never had access to.

For all intensive purposes, CBI could potentially have less wholesale cost and sell at higher margins for the same price point.

So.. let things marinate and CBI communicate when they're ready. :)

Congratulations to Zach and CBI. I am very grateful I purchased my rack last year during the spring group buy. Zach was awesome to deal with considering I had plenty of questions. I am in the same boat as many of you though, because I was waiting for another group buy to purchase another rack for my wife's 4Runner. Decision's, decision's.

    enough to have fun
Thule T2 hitch rack is my favorite option, or a tailgate pad.

I've had many bike racks, and the Thule sidearm would work well on the prinsu

I ordered my Prinsu because I don't want to have a hitch rack and I want to carry my mountain bike easily when I have my camper shell on. When the shell is off I have two fork mounts on the rail.

Put my order in on the 5th of this month, does this acquisition mean I should expect my roof rack sooner?:fingerscrossed:

I'm sure CBI has figured out how to communicate by now and will extend that to Prinsu. My biggest issue with Prinsu was the lack of general communication and @zscott 's theory that he was imune to it as a "small" buisiness. It was so off putting that when people ask about the rack I just tell em it was custom as to not give him any more business. Hope you turn it around @CBI Offroad Fab

Well I'm glad to see a small business owner make a huge step. All things aside, it's awesome to have a big name be impressed with your design enough to want to look at, much less buy it from you. So I'm that. Congrats @zscott

I'm about a week or so out of my 6 week lead Time. I've got about a month wiggle room for a trio and hope to have it by then. But either way can't wait to get it mounted and have some.of his products on my rig.

I suggested this as an option to CBI and I would be willing to help coordinate it.

    Lame!

    Double Lame!

I was waiting to see what was happening with these lead times and possible GB so I could get racks for cab and shell but if GB doesn't happen and prices go up with CBI, I'm going to find another alternative. :(
