7111 Droid Fighter. I believe the only Star Wars set to not come with a minifig

 

Finally done. Need to develop my own programs for this one. It has a lot of potential.

I see this often, I haven't picked one up yet. However #8097 Slave I showed up today. I plan on building it tonight.

 

It's a fun little build. Is that the first one released?

WTF! Was that shipped by a major company? Time for a public shaming.

 

It was shipped by a private party off eBay. Amazingly it arrived mostly sealed. One tab popped and the other was holding on by a thread. I normally like to preserve the box but in this case it will be difficult. After work tonight I'll see what I can do.

 

Amazing. Some shippers just don't get it. Hopefully you can work it out

 

Obviously I wished this would have arrived in an outer box. Even though it didn't. I still received a good deal on it. I essentially paid used price for a new set if you were to factor in potential shipping cost (which was free). So I still ended up sunny side up.

 

Hard to argue with a good deal. Its what's inside that matters.

 

Oh my. I'm down $300 when this is out. This is the new Ninjago D2C set for the upcoming movie. It's 4800+ pieces of awesome. It's #70620 and will be available 1 Sept and to VIP members the 15thish of Aug. I think this will make a great addition to anyone's modular collection. Looking at you @HomerTaco

Sorry to spam but #8088 arrived today from a very trusted bricklink vendor. And believe it or not this is the same #8097 from yesterday. I was able to clean it up.

 

It was time to change up my Lego display so I went to get some of my Star Wars sets out of storage.

 

I love the double dropship. I might try that out. I have all these minus the Imperial Landing Craft. It is on my list to get.

 

The drop ship set is responsible for getting me out of my dark ages. All I wanted was some stormies. Not long after I got the Landing Craft.

 

Speaking of storm troopers, the imperial battle pack #75165 (the one I bought a ton of) is currently marked retiring soon on Lego's online store. This set was released on 17 Feb 17. The life spam of sets is so random.

 

Wow that is very surprising. Wonder what they have in store for the next wave.
