Eagle Scout earned and awarded 1978 in the Philippines.

Actually, it was known as the Scout Citizen Award at the time.

The award's official name has changed over the years. From Wikipedia:

The BSP's (Boys Scouts of the Philippines) highest rank went through a number of name and requirement changes through the years after the Philippines gained its independence from the United States of America.
    • Eagle Scout (1936–1962)
    • José Rizal Scout (1962–1976)
    • Scout Citizen Award (1976–1994)
    • Eagle Scout (1994–present)

Also earned the equivalent of two Palms (Anahaw Awards)

little brother earned his eagle at 14! i may be out of turn here but: both my daughters earned the bronze, silver, and gold awards. as an assistant leader for 1 troop and a helper with the other we lead 7 girls total through to their gold award. for those who don't know it is the girl scout equivalent of the eagle. our troops are done although we still see a good deal of fellowship between the girls even now. my wife has remained on as a counsel outdoor ed trainer and i still participate as the archery instructor for 3 counties. congratulations to all of you who have achieved this you are a credit to us all. and yes to those of you who have served, HELL YES IT MATTERS OOOOOOOOOOOORAH!

I was thinking about this after tagging in on the Engineering thread.
Same kind of thing, it makes sense that there are a few Eagle Scouts with trucks made to explore, are trustworthy, etc.
Although I do find I'm not as thrifty as I should be after getting on this site.

Eagled in 04, a little too close to my 18th..
I did touch a boob before getting Eagle...
And hell yes it matters, appreciate you guys!

Also, recognizing some of the usernames in here from other threads, it makes sense that you guys are Eagles. Helpful, friendly, and also dorks sometimes.

Lol earned my eagle in 2013. Troop 99 in Las Vegas, NV. Worked at Camp emerald bay from 2011-2016?. Several palms and all the eagle merit badges you could earn and lots more. Lots of great memories from scouts and hope to be able to do it with my kids one day.

    So here's a sad fact:
For those of you who are in the order of the arrow, the place where it was founded - Treasure Island Scout Reservation - has been closed since 2008. It is currently for sale by the local BSA Council. :pout:
I've got a pic here somewhere I'll post up
