What time Saturday morning do you think you'll arrive? I may be able to meet up with you. Then we could at least have TWO lost people looking for the rest of the crowd.

Good God man! How many weeks did you stay in one spot?

I thought this was a weekend trip, not a semi-permanent military encampment. Looks like a family of Gypsy's live there!

ok, this really isn't that difficult... when i'm backpacking (i usually just use a lighter but...) i keep a flint and pencil sharpener in my bag. sharpener makes very nice kindling, or just a knife can do this, grab something to use as an igniter while you're walking, cattails work great... one little strike and boom. fire
^^^ when i'm car camping
    can your torch handle map?
i might be able to get some pallets
    i like this idea
    do it!
we'll help you set up if so. and i'm sure we have enough lights to make the forest animals think the night is over
ez up is easy... who knew? :notsure:

Can a 1-day participant qualify for a tee-shirt? If so, put me in for a 2XL and an XL.

I don't want to haul pallets again but I could, was my point.

And yes Bill, we would all help you setup if needed.

And yes, far as I know, my Bernzo can handle MAP too. It's just the standard manual striking nozzle. Fits on the blue, yellow, and camp-type propane bottles

    Nah. I would help.

Hell! I helped Everett tear his porch down in 90° heat. He kept asking why I came to help....because I can!

When we were on the trails just a few miles from these back in April, there had been 3 days of monsoon rains right up until that morning. The holes were full of standing water. There was water running down hills in tire ruts. But traction wasn't bad, nor was it overly sloppy. Mostly rock...Very little "dirt" on existing trails. You might drown, but I don't think you will get stuck.
