Crap. Now I'm obligated to wire up and record myself getting out of the truck, walking around the corner of the trail , walking back , walking knee deep into the mud, looking at the truck, looking back at the mud, looking at the front end, looking at the rock, walking to the truck, shaking the truck and camera as I tighten the yaks for the 19th time on the trail.

I'm not sure I'm willing to admit and document my problem yet.

So racks that were purchased pre cbi, if they have any issues etc will that now be honored by cbi ? Hoping I can buy just pieces I might want another rail or two and might ditch the cutout fearing for a full one I haven't decided yet

I doubt there will be issues... It's a quality product and simple, hard to screw up.

Those extra parts are already available.

So is it a bad time to order a rack?
    Serious question

Not if you're worried about a future price increase.

Any warranty issues on racks purchased from me I will take care of. If it is additional parts you want those can be ordered from CBI.

Nope, CBI is already setup to accept orders through the prinsu website. They already are working on building up inventory.

So I just ordered one two days ago, anyone know if it will still have the old logo? Kind of hoping so. Or will CBI throwing theirs on it now?

    Bummer. :(

I have my order on the website. Just before I take the plunge. Is there a discount for us TACOMAWORLD members?? You know I had to ask. I like deals. Plus, since now there is a new company taking over. Is the wait time longer or shorter?

CBI does not offer any discounts to TW members, wait time should be shorter. But I'm not a 100% on that last part

For anyone that's on the fence about buying now. CBI says they are keeping everything about the racks the same, including pricing for now.

Sorry, but I am not a fan of CBI at all.

The CBI T-shirt fiasco did me in. CBI reneged on their sale price, and then shipped them with postage due. If a vendor/company can't properly handle a $10 item, I can't imagine how they would handle more expensive items.

I felt so ashamed of wearing that T-shirt representing a non-honest company, I ended up using it as a rag.

    Food for thought:

It looks like they resolved the issues in each of those threads.
