From what I gather, Chad is gen blind. He shows love for all gens and Tacoma owners. #notagenracist He is about bringing all the gen owners together.

Unfortunately there are quite a number of visitors from the US who to try to sneak firearms in...hence the multiple questions and sometimes lengthy checks. Glad you enjoyed your time north of the border!

    Thanks!

It came with the windows tinted from the dealer.
I live in Louisiana, but I bought the truck in Georgia. Once it was delivered to me, I went to get a Louisiana state inspection and they turned me down because they said it was illegal. The light meter on the front windows read 28% (don't know what the back windows are). Legal limit in Louisiana is 40%. I think Georgia's legal limit is 35%, so it would've been illegal there too. I don't know how strict Georgia is on window tint laws, but I know plenty of people who've been ticketed in Louisiana.
I ended up finding a place that inspected with the windows like they are. Drove up with the driver's window down and they never even checked it, so I guess I'm good until next year. Hopefully I can get away with it again.

You should apply more super glue around the cracked area, then sprinkle a bunch of baking soda. I use that method to reinforce plastic, when cracked.

Gotcha. I live in Tennessee and we don't have vehicle inspections, thankfully. I use to live in Texas and they do have inspections so I feel your pain

Why the baking soda? I just had a sun shade that broke at the plastic connector and was getting ready to glue it, any additional support would be great.

Had mine changed on my 20000 mile service. Plus had my annoying seat belt reminder turned off too. They can do it at Toyota. You can't change it on the Entune system. It has to be done at the dealer

Painted the pinch weld flat black. I never did this on my 2003 and I still notice it every time I see it.

Threw on an SR grille from a Craigslist buy, then mounted my quick fists on the front rail for both my fire extinguisher and axe in prep for my trip to Moab this coming weekend!

We came into Canada just north of St Albans Vermont on US Highway 89 which became QC 133 in Canada. We had a very pleasant trip with many good memories and I understand that they were just doing their job. I am a retired US Navy officer and certainly don't fit the profile of a terrorist but you should be happy that they are doing their best to keep bad people out. We were just some dumb tourists with a lot of dumb questions and everyone was very friendly and happy to answer our questions even the many random strangers off the street that we talked to.
