    Can anyone verify PN 90311-47012 and PN
    $10 90311-47027 Toyota Oil Seal - 90311-47027
    90311-47027 are the same part? 027 is showing its being the updated part number for the driver side axle seal.

    I replaced mine when I did my ECGS bushing a few weeks ago with PN 47027. It's now leaking. I'm not sure if they're not the same part or mines defective or installed wrong.

    I wanna replace it again but wanna verify the PN before I order another.



    I will as soon as my buddy is done with it.

    Yes there the same part. I used
    $10 90311-47027 Toyota Oil Seal - 90311-47027
    90311-47027 and no leaks. I think they just update part numbers for some reason, but the parts are the same. I ordered 90311-47012, but received
    90311-47027 instead. I was told it's an updated part number. I got it on eBay for $11, dealer wanted $25:eek:

    Any sound advice for doing the install? Sorry I am meeting a friend soon to help me pull the needle bearing out and don't have time to read through the entire thread.

    Pull tire, and all you really need is to pull the two bolts that hold the spindle to the LBJ. then you can swing the whole spindle / hub / cv out of the way plenty.

    For the CV pulling out of the diff, try prying it out, if it doesnt, push it back in, rotate 1/6th of a turn and try again, It comes out very easy but you need to find the spot where the opening of the c clip that holds it in the diff is facing down.

    Its pretty straight forward. Does definitely help to have a puller tool. I made mine, its very similar to the ECGS one.

    I just used a big socket n a hammer to push the bushing back in.

    Put the new bushing in the freezer while you are dissassembling everything. Should help make the installation of the bushing either
