@fatfurious2 @Coot83 @Lots2Learn58 I need to meet up with one you guys before the Bald trip so I can give you the traction boards for @JWROSE4. What time is the roll out at Starbucks?
Or would anybody mind if I swing by your place and drop them off on Thursday night? Thanks

we are meeting at Starbucks at 7am on Saturday. We will leave on 66 West, towards 81. Could meet you on the way. Or if thats too early for you, I think @Lots2Learn58 is in Springfield. Might be closer than Ashburn to you.

Meeting at the Starbucks at 0700 but you could swing by my place Thursday depending on the time. I work until about 2000, which would be the only problem.

Yep. Probably the wrx limited unless I can manage funds for the sti limited. The sti I would have to get the limited to get the one without the big wing on the back, which I dont really care for.
If you know someone who is a subaru ambassador, they can give you a coupon for $500 off the total price after all the incentives and such are applied.

Got my cb ordered!! The actual cb and coax will get here today, so I can get that all installed and routed. That way once the antenna and mount gets here I can just throw it on.

Cool man, routing the coax is what requires all the work. Everything just plugs up in a minute. What cb is that and did you get the mount yet?

This is the one I got. Basic, small, but still has PA and NOAA weather. The antenna mount will be here Friday! Went with the one a few pages back. It'll mount outside the passenger side taillight.

This makes me want to look into CB mounting ideas, I would prefer not to cut into my center console to mount the thing, but I don't really want it in the way either.

You can take some strong Velcro strips and mount it on the passenger side of the center console. That's where I had my last one.

I can take a pic of mine later, but by it just being a handheld it sits just past the crevice of my drivers seat on the left side of the auto transmission.
