Labels created for the members below. The flat rate padded envelopes I ordered still haven't arrived, so I'll have to pack the last 12 up at the post office. I expect to have that done tomorrow. I'll have to do the spicy samples up there as well since I am just sending them through standard envelopes using standard postage.

And, just as a reminder, TacomaWorld and, especially, you knuckleheads in this thread that gave our stuff a try, are incredibly awesome.

We can't thank you enough :D.

Still haven't had a chance to use mine. I have two butts in the freezer that I believe will be on the smoke this weekend.

I shipped out the standard packages for the following folks who should have also received a notification via the e-mail on file with PayPal. If you didn't get your tracking number, let me know and I'll find it for you.

Spicy testers, your samples went out this morning as well! @FlyFishVA and @dan0mite, yours is combined with the regular shipment. For the samples, I have a list of tracking numbers, but they went standard parcel, so I couldn't tie them to an e-mail address. If you need/want the tracking #, let me know and I'll try to figure out which one is yours.

As mentioned with the first shipment:

*If there are any issues with your order for any reason (seal broke, damaged packaging, etc.), do let me know right away via PM or e-mail so that I can address it. I have no problem whatsoever owning up to any concerns publicly, I would just like to have an understanding and a solution in place prior to doing so. I think that is fair. That said, seals, weights (everyone got a little over to be sure ;)), procedure, ingredients, packaging, etc. were all monitored/followed/verified very closely, so I don't anticipate any problems. Just wanted to get it out there :Dpitfacedbbq@gmail.com *

We had an issue with a broken seal for another member in the first go around and we got it taken care of right away and, hopefully, went beyond satisfactory :D. First priority is making as many happy cooks as we can.

Looking forward to even more feedback!!!!

@FlyFishVA suggested trying to work TacomaWorld in to the name of the spicy version. I'm open to considering that. It'd probably have to be a kind of an inside joke so that the name can still play with the general public, but let's hear what you come up with.

TW's Flamin Rub-a-dub. Most people would assumes it's the person who created it's initials. People in the know would KNOW though.

or TW's Ring of Fire Rub-a-Dub.

@bvbull200 So are you going to do an "As required buy" for the spicy rub?

We'll see how the test goes, then figure out a course of action from there.

What I'd like to do with the short break we're taking is set up an efficient method of taking orders as people want to place them. We're not exactly set up for that at the moment.

Assuming the test of the spicy goes well, we will build a little inventory of both, then let people buy what they want, when they want. I might start with setting specific ship dates throughout the month (i.e. "We will ship on the first and third Tuesday of every month"), then look at switching to standard lead times once we establish a rhythm.

We're REALLY good at making the rub, but we're still a little wet behind the ears with regards to order taking/fulfillment. Hopefully that hasn't affected anyone in this thread, as I've worked hard to make it as seamless for you all as possible. It's controlled chaos on my end, though .

We'll get it figured out :).

If I was you, I'd insert a Buy Button on your current website via Shopify. 9 bucks per month with a very small transaction fee. It would organize all your orders in one spot for easy administration, and allow your customers to pay Via PayPal or credit card or a bunch of other methods. Ties into USPS or UPS or FedEx, whatever you want, and sends customers their tracking numbers once shipped. Lots of other features and reasons to use this. You tell people to go to your website or send them the direct link to buy the rub, and then you process the order way more easily than you are now.

I want something just like that, I just don't exactly know which options are available.

This is a big help. I appreciate the suggestion.

As someone who does all this for a living, I will say that the Shopify Buy Button is by far the best solution for what I know of your situation.

Not sure what software your site runs on but there are plenty of really good shopping cart options out there that you can setup pretty easy. Many are free and most have PayPal integration. When I used to have a web hosting company I set them up for people all the time. Whoever your host is may have one where you just click to install it, then you configure it make it look like your site and you're good to go.
