Damn that new preds jersey looks awful. Not really much changed though for most of the teams.

 

I actually prefer the new Preds jersey. That piping on the old one was stupid, I thought. The new collar (s) is much better too. Vegas looks cool. Overall, I have no complaints.

Pens wanted to make sure they keep Rust and Cole. Sucks we have to send a pick and MAF. But at least that is some Cap space gone. Now just have to see if we dress Jarry as the back-up or sign a veteran. My guess is we run with Jarry and let him play 30 games this year.

 

Glad to see Shea Theodore possibly getting major minutes in Vegas. He's a smart player and needs more playtime.

 

They ROYALLY fucked up the Oilers jersey. The recent orange jersey was a work of art. This new pile of shit is just awful!!!

I actually like the Ducks' 3rd jersey.....hoping it comes back next season... But on the fence one whether i should buy it now. Is it coming back? will it go on sale? or will i lose my chance?

 

How? Lol. It doesn't look that different. Looks fine, I think. The darker blue is better, in my opinion. The stripe difference is whatever. I like all of the collars on the Adidas jerseys, better than the Reebok.

@bwonger No 3rd jerseys this coming year. Not sure if / when they come back.

 

Will the adidas jerseys affect the AHL as well? It sounds like 3rd jerseys are going away for awhile, and my favorite AHL team has a third jersey I wouldn't mind picking up if that's he case.

 

by next season i meant the one following this coming season.....but yeah, i'd probably hold off on any jersey that only has minor changes. I bet adidas is just dipping their toes and teams will have bigger changes a few seasons down the line...

 

The blue is completely different. Looks terribad. The orange looks cheaply off color - which I hope is just bad lighting in the shots. And those stripes......I can't even......

 

Not sure if the orange is any different. Could be the lighting. The Blue is noticeable, for sure but like I said, I actually like that. As far as the stripes, isn't it basically the same stripes as what was on the White and Blue jerseys that they have worn lately? I didn't think it was a big deal. But it isn't my team, so I realize I am looking at it as an outsider. I think it looks great though.

I don't care for the new blue at all. Really liked the old blue. The stripes.......eesh!! They are thin, like the 'Away' jersey. But that looks awful on this orange one. The filled in blue from before was WAY better. And the orange color really looks cheap.
As I mentioned - I loved the previous orange jersey. In my eyes, it was a masterpiece. This looks like a cheaply made knock-off. Swing.....and a MISS!!

 

What are your thoughts on the material changes? I looked at the close-ups and on the Pens, for examples, it looks the same but when you see the jersey up close the material changes made it look really high-end. I like that twill-type material they used on the shoulders. I'll probably buy one this year and then I will compare with my latest Reeboks. I have to replace my MAF jerseys with something new in the rotation lol.

 

I'm sure the materials will be superior. And I'm sure the players will like that. I'm speaking only from a fan's aspect - as to the visual mess that Adidas has made.
I have my orange McDavid jersey - in the version I absolutely love. I highly doubt I'll buy a copy of this dumpster fire.

 

I'd be choked as an Oilers fans. They sold literal tons of those new orange jerseys last year and replaced it almost immediately...
