Might be beneficial to show them the truck is capable too. Or will it be a pavement princess?

Sounds like you're making solid progress on something that gets overlooked too often. Vets get treated like shit.

Are those limit straps for the front?

I need those! Damn near at full drop with the stiff 885 springs and no added weight. I'm hunting for 5100s up front, or may consider a lighter spring

    5100s with 885s work swimmingly.

(That means great in multi-syllable terms)

No clunk. Good ride. Plenty of travel. Low cost.

I'm still waiting on the coilovers, bypass and hydro bumpstops for the front (all running large finned reservoirs)

And then the 2.5x16 bypass for the rear cage with deaver leaf springs SUA

I think a Kentucky to Moab trip should most definitely be in the making. I'm in.

    That's a 3 day drive
I doubt anyone other than you or I would do that trip
Not to mention your rig has to be decently built up to do well safely in Moab so the list of us going would be pretty short hahaha

Hardly lol. My problem is planning/prep. Need to schedule trip like that far in advance for me and family

2 days. 22ish hours of driving if you don't go 65 the whole way.

Well my truck will still hit retard speeds
So it depends on what size tires you guys are running that will decide if you can keep up

And @beertimecontinuum would need a fuel cell to make the trip for sure

I mean if we legit wanna plan this out we could aim for next July?

Possible. Can't commit now but possible. We need to wheel together before I make that decision. No offense, just saying real stuff. Back to DYF porch mods for me
