Honestly, a cap is a pretty substantial mod.

I actually bought mine not to mod. It was to be a simple utilitarian daily driver since I have a modded Mustang. Four years later And I've done about a dozen mods and have plans for more.

2015 TRDOR, tossed a cap on it, that's about all I'm going to do.

I see way to much complaining about drive angles, vibrations, and shortened drivetrain life to bother monkeying with a lift and such. [and this is from someone who has lifted some oddball stuff in the past]

Since I also haul a trailer sometimes, I really don't want acute U joint angles either. My days of enjoying bashing out old wallowed out ones are long over.

You also weed out a huge percentage of people when and if you ever try to sell it, some people prefer to do any mods themselves and others either don't want mods or figure you beat the everloving HE double L out of it. [even if it's just driving over curbs at the mall]

I've grown to really dislike modified vehicles, because I have owned so many that have been badly modified by somebody else in the past. I hate getting somebody else's "hillbilly hot rod." I have seen so many horribly installed stereo systems and hacked up door panels with speakers stuffed in them. So many stock engines with a big chrome open element air cleaner on top. So many ill-conceived cheap resprays when a faded original paint job would look so much better. So now, I leave my truck either stock or with easily removable modifications such as a cap.

I bought mine and swore I wouldn't "mod". To me mods are re working the suspension till the damn thing isn't recognizable. Fiberglass. Gettin all up in the trucks guts. I won't. I'm not gonna. But I have done other things. It's like can't help myself. Owning a Tacoma and modding are the same thing. I really wanna be the guy who has an all original 3 gen Tacoma in 2050. I do. I even swore I wouldn't change my shift knob. I was like "this shift knob is kinda stupid feeling and I wanna change it but I won't because this is the ORIGINAL shift knob" I said that to myself with doe eyes. But some stuff just cannot be helped. You can't changes a mans nature.

I cant handle that TRD cheese grater grille.

Probably going to get a pro grille.

But I saw a SR5 grille with FJ cruiser letters on this forum and it looked great.

I also don't like that my bottom fog lights are yellow.

So I am definitely getting TRD pro rigid industry

True. This is real. Especially when you copped out a little on the anniversary. But remember. She's a gf, not a wife. Perpesctive. But man that face/feeling.

I swear my ears actually fold back in case she swings on me.
