Lift question...Do I need UCAs with an 885/5100s set up? Some say you do some say you don't. Wanting to pull the trigger on 5100s in all corners and 885s to give me right around 3" w/ a wheeler's 1.5" AAL.

Anything I believe above 2" needs UCas if I remember correctly

You can try it it's not like your truck will fall apart without them you just might not be able to get ideal alignment numbers. They can be added at a later time without issue

Unless the coil springs start hitting the UCA, then it's just dangerous. I wouldn't go above 2" without them.

I have 5100s in the front and will be adding 885s without UCAs within the next two weeks. I already have them but just need to find a shop with cheap install. I'll let you know if it's a bad idea. If it is, I'll be buying UCAs asap. Lol. I'm hoping the 885s settle down to 2.5".

Just let me know! I guess I'll just keep saving for some used sets on here or just grab some LRs if you end up having to get some. Thanks

Then if I don't end up needing them I'll just have extra money for more mods! Gotta see those silver linings...

I have UCAs with my 885s, which got me 2.5" lift on my V6 4x4. I had 884s (2" lift) on stock UCAs and had ok alignment. Wanted to move up to 885s and wanted to get 0 camber 0 toe and 3.5* caster so just went and invested in the UCAs, which I'm glad I did. I have JBA UCAs

Where did you find JBAs? Wheeler's or Headstrong doesn't sell them...
