When I pee in the Colorado, it just mixes in with everyone else's pee from up river and goes into the All American Canal and into California.

Eh? Sven and Ole were in the woods and...

You don't even want to know what I did in the potable holding tanks on the ships.. Or more accurately what they looked like after a few weeks.

Had a division officer that when he got out of the Navy planned on being a water rights lawyer. Had many a discussion about water West of the Missouri River. You don't even want to know that either. I'll stay on the East side of it thank you very much. But just barely. Unless I am in the PNW. That is a whole different watershed thank goodness.

LOL I just realized you said Roosevelt Lake. Every time I have to go to Scottsdale I do the Apache Trail. And go to Roosevelt Lake. I might have contributed a time or 3 myself.

We get our water from Aquifers. But SRP is trying to sue everyone with water rights and wells along the Verde in the valley. So I figure they can use all the extra "liquid" they can get. You know. Sue people over their right of water and bankrupt them so you can have more water for dust abatement at gravel pits and construction sites.
All while we are supposedly in a "draught".
I hate PHX and most of the people there.

I know one of you guys has to know the answer to this... I need different lights in my garage and want to go LED. Besides the light strips, what all do I need? going to hard wire to where my current like is.

    Ok I'll make this easy.
I went from 300 watts power to 900 watts and didn't increase my usage.
I changed all the bulbs and added a bulb fixtures.
I'll try to find a couple of pics. No strips, just bulbs

These other guys know more than I do. But I do know if you have the newer fluorescent lights, it's a direct swap. We changed out a bunch of them at work and, now that I learned that little tid-bit, I'll do mine in the garage.

I need to replace the current fixture - stoopid thing won't work when it humid in my garage. Works fine when its dry out. One of the guys posted a pic of his garage now and it's bright all over.

Everyone that lives outside of the Valley on the Rim hates PHX.

Used to go there in the 70's to look at "old" cars and trucks with a friend that lived there when I was in San Diego. First time heard the if it is brown flush it down if it is yellow let it mellow. Now when I go there can't believe how much green from irrigation, mainly home owners, and even the city compared to what it used to be. It is a fucking desert. Houston we have a problem. Don't mind irrigation for food but for green space? Paint your sand green if you want grass damn it. Sam Kinison screaming it is a fucking desert. Move...

About 4 years ago they sent me there in January. I did my weekend trip on the Apache Trail as usual and always stop at the large gas station on the right as your headed up the Superstition Mountains. Young lady there was striking conversation up with me and asked if I came up out of the Valley to see the snow. It was in the twenties below zero every night when I left Mn. for weeks and could hardly choke out a not hardly.

They had a hard freeze warning and the news on every channel on the boob tube had as priority one how to keep your irrigation system from freezing solid and destroying it. WTF? Increase humidity in the Valley. Suck what little water you have dry to water grass. Sorry, not really, I don't get it.

On the other hand a gal on our small team of 14 people left last week to go to San Diego to see the Dalai Lama. And got caught up in the heat wave she sends emails every day about her vacation there. She complained about the US Navy Fighter jets flying over head as he was speaking. I happen to work with a retired Sr. Chief that works for me and we were talking about it and I said damn that is the sound of Freedom, not the vocal cords of Dalai Lama. Guess said it too loud.

I used to work in an office. Now I am in a cube farm. And someone from another team most likely heard me and I have to go to another "training" class. So I am not the best person to give any opinion apparently.

Mike was my first thought with his swap out. I really need to do mine also. But I would go his route. I have done the florecent swap out in the uplighting in my kitchen but am going to go with what he did when it is all said and done. Could have saved me some money if he would have posted before I tried the newer florescent tubes :p
