Maybe I'm not as educated as you are regarding optics in general, but from my layman point of view vortex offers the best features and glass quality to price ratio of any of the companies you mentioned. For me the warranty is a nice bonus. I looked into all those companies you mentioned and when comparing similar scopes across brands vortex was consistently the best priced. Maybe that's because they aren't of the same optic quality or maybe you are paying a premium for the name associated with those companies who have been around longer? My wallet can't afford those other brands is what it comes down to for me.

Regardless of anyones opinion on vortex there is no need to undermine someones for sale post in the trading thread. That's shitty

Not sure any of them let the warranty follow the optic with as many owners as it may have. I also have acquaintances at the pointy tip of the spear who have taken Vortex optics into harms way and use them on their personal weapons. Same friends would also never use a Leupold. It's actually pretty interesting to hear Larry Vickers (retired Delta and at one time, one of their primary marksmanship instructors) talk about Leupold. They basically told Delta to FO after Mogadishu when they were needing a variable optic with a true 1x. Hence the creation of the Short Dot by Schmidt & Bender.

Yes, the other optics you mention definitely offer some quite nice optics. For instance, there are components of the US MIL who use Nightforce, but he is selling a Vortex, and i believe they make a nice product and stand behind them.

I got No problems with you! I totally would buy your gun if i wasent saving for the topper i want.

Reason why im selling some stuff.

After selling firearms and scopes for the last 6-7 years so many good companies you can buy from. They all have there pros and cons. Comes down to what your needs are and personal preference.
All the brands frank mentioned are good top tier brands. Have a couple of them too!

I'm selling my Bajarack Utility with Mesh for those that want a low profile, solid rack and don't want to wait on the long leads and pay $100+ for shipping.

    $600 takes it

Fits 2nd and 3rd Gen DC's and has the satellite cutout. I'm in FoCo but get down to Denver often enough. The rack is great, but I sold my RTT so I don't need the capacity of a full rack.

    Link to Bajarack's images/description:

    http://www.bajarack.com/?id=racks_list_inside&idRack=40

Not the best photos of it, but they are what I have at the moment.
