Installed a mic tuning USB plug on the left of the steering wheel. Wasn't that great of threads to show how it's done so here's what I did.

I used an add a fuse on ign 2 and then used a ring connector on the bolt that bolts into the panel where the fuse block is.

    Pretty straightforward at that point.

Yes I know I have a few add a fuse already

Haven't posted this here yet, I finished my install of the rigid dually side shooters on the sos ditch light brackets. Used 1/4" loom to make the install look as clean as possible, power via add-a-circuit to the fuse box under the hood, and ground to body. Cali raised switch is ordered for a clean look in the cab. No night pics yet. Will post when I get time to take some. But they are bright af during the day

The only "pain" was making sure the pigtails from the lights themselves were routed a certain way so they don't get pinched when the hood is shut. Had to zip tie them to the outer edge of the bracket on each side, and again by the cowl as you can see

Great shot from inside to see how the mounts hold the lights from driver view

I thought the ditch lights might made an awkward obstruction of view while driving but they don't! And the sos brackets bolt to the hood hinges so you don't have to trim the cowl like you would with another brand. I'll adjust their aim and get a couple night pics Friday night. Btw who's bed mounts did you get?

They work great at the front of the bed like I have them. I have a slight issue with mounting them on the side right now, just got them installed tonight so @Zac of all trades can maybe help me with something I am doing wrong. I sent him a PM to see what what a tard I am.

:rofl:Don't feel bad, we've all been there trying to figure shit out. Sometimes it's right in front of us that we aren't seeing, other times it's trial and error with different ways of doing it. What's the issue your having with mounting the on the side? Are you using carriage bolts in the frame rails or threaded t-slot nuts?

I have both mounting options available. I am using carriage bolts. The problem seems to be with having pre-drilled holes from zac. I needed them in a different spot I think. If you look the closest mount sits perfect in the notch. The 2nd mount tho. She no go. All on an angle and not flush and shit.

I see that now, since they are not painted or powder coated yet you might be able to use a drill bit and slowly "grind" against the edge of the one hole that's off to open it up a little more and make the bolt line up better. I had to do that with one of the mounts I made for my bed lights
Edit: and you can put washers underneath the nuts so you won't see the spanned hole on the one you widen a bit

Yea I will have to do both of the mounts the same, so that they line up straight with the quick fists on them. I will get the dremel out and modify the 2nd set I have for the side, these ones will stay on the front :D

Glad I did it this way and did not paint them 1st. Makes it much easier to modify them hah

And once your done you can prime and paint em black, then you really wouldn't notice the widened holes with or without use of washers:thumbsup:
