    Mostly stuff I built.
My neighbor has 13k on his truck and still has the plastic sticky covers on the carpet. Truck it totally untouched other than maintenance. Then again he is retired and in his late 60s still a cool old cat though.

Bought mine 1 year ago this month. Put a leveling kit on it, upgraded the audio (a must and first thing I do to any of my rides) and called it a day. Went to a meet, parked between these two guys, one year later ive spent almost 1/2 the cost of the truck on mods.

I'm 17, never had a gf let alone even held hands.. But if there's one thing I will NEVER put up with, it's going to the toilet seat. No guy should ever have to hear about that.

I bought my truck for the purpose of modding it.. Can't imagine it being stock againimage.jpg
Still far from done. Needs skids, front locker, regear, 37s, long travel, and a supercharger.. Then I think I'll be done.

I bought my 17 TRDOR in March. I told myself I wasn't going to do anything. That I was done modding anything after my 240. Then I came to TW. I blame TW. So far it's:

    1. Bro, I mean Pro Grille
    2. Front IFS and Trans RCI skid's
    3. Tacoma Tailgate inserts (nice ones)
    4. SEMA Pro rims with Kbro 2's in
    265/70/17
    5. Removed TRD bedside stickers and V6
on the tailgate and Plasti dipped the
    Tacoma door emblems. (Wanna do
    something about the amber headlight
side marker but not sure about
    options.)
    6. Suspension (I think icon) is to come
but I'm so undecided on what to do,
because I only want one inch of lift.
    7. Who knows what's to come later.

SO. Good luck with only keeping it to a topper.

I originally expected to drive a stock truck indefinitely, but I was able to achieve MPG's well above what is listed on the Monroney sticker. So, now I get to have a little fun with it.

Once it's retired as my daily driver, it'll be less to mod for the second half of its life as a recreational vehicle.

I bought a TRD OR so it's set up to the nines bro, right from the factory! I can wheel to the ends of the earth with it! And I get good mileage and it wasn't overpriced!

I bought mine to use as a daily-driver in place of the Wrangler JKUR which I've had for 4 years and want to mod into more of a weekend toy. Thus, I'll leave the Tacoma pretty stock. I did order a rubber bed-mat, tonneau cover, and rock-rails. I may do some sort of front bumper at some point, but that's iffy. I question spending neigh unto $37K for a vehkcle that I feel needs to be changed a lot. Makes little sense. But I also do get the hobby/unique factors. To many, a vehicle, whether it be one of these or a Jeep or a muscle car or whatever is not just a transportation appliance to get one from Point A to Point B and nothing else. They are recreational vehicles, statements, something to savor and enjoy, and all of that is just great.

I started with no intentions of modding and here I am later with a level, tires, rims, weathertech, toolbox, and upgraded door speakers...

My general rule with mods is not to do anything I can't take off when I sell it. In fact, given some of my long term quality suspicions on mine specifically, I will probably trade in for the last year 3rd gen so I can easily move over my Prinsu, steps, rolling tonneau/racks, etc., to the next one and my SSM will only need a replacement roof moulding to be back in stock shape.

Tacoma owners are hobbyists so it's all about what you're looking to do though. A lot of folks love to tinker and mod their trucks and have no intention of selling them for a long time. So - have fun, do what makes you happy!

I just bought mine and I wasn't planning to leave it stock, but I've already ordered a new grill, aftermarket radio, and orange dash bezel. I'll probably swap out the shift knob. I have a couple of small Rigid dually led lights I'll throw on from my old Wrangler. So it's mostly a few cosmetic changes. I got a DCSB OR, and I'm pretty satisfied with the stock suspension. It's plenty for winter and I don't really do any off-roading, though I'd like to one day. So I currently don't have any plans to make any major mods to it.

We bought our 2017 4X4 TRD Off Road in mid April. Only things we have done are add Weathertech floor mats and the Weathertech Vent Visors. This is nearly a daily driver, at least it is in the rotation. I can't really think of anything thing I could do that would improve the performance or handling. Of course I did my share of off roading with a bone stock Jeep Wrangler TJ.

I'm not really an avid outdoorsman with my tacoma but I was pretty satisfied with a 2" level so it didn't look like my 2nd gen was nose diving.

Just bought a 17 4x4 TRD OR DC a couple weeks ago - not likely to mod. Getting ready to sell my 08 TRD where I added 5100's to the front and that is it. Had a 00 before that one and did nothing to it.

only thing I've done to my truck so far is replace interior lights with LED and added LED strips for bed lighting. couple things I might do someday, but I've still got another 95k miles on my warranty, and like the truck the way it is.

I added spacers, Tint, floor mats, painted the rims and blacked out the grill.. Pretty much all I can afford to do (ok I can afford more but the fiancé wont let me) as of now. Ill be doing small stuff like new headlights, rear diff snorkel, and try to do some colored leds for the grill and foot wells when I get the time though.
