Stopped by Cody's (badland bumpers) this morning with my friend so he could drop something off. Here's Cameron's truck, 2nd gen runner on 1 tons, full hydro, air shocks and 40" bro comps.

 

Mine touch now that they've been used as a jacking point and sitting on obstacles in the trail. They started 1/4" away from the pinch.

40s with a 3.4L? What gearing does he have in that poor thing, 7.17s?

 

I would hope for a v8 swap with that kinda tire and axle combo

 

Yeah he 3.4 swapped it. i think 5.38 gears but also dual cases

 

About 1/4"

 

Yeah, mine have hit the pinch a few times when I fell off something #limoproblems

Hey @Juforrest what did you pay for materials to make your sliders? I'm trying to figure out if its worth trying to have some bent and weld them or just cough up $600 for some GX sliders

 

Also, I scored some all pro UCAs and the powercoat is peeling really bad. Should I just spray them or get them re powder coated?

 

Take them all the way apart, get em blasted and coated. UCAs take a beating. I think if you painted them they'd chip pretty quickly. Taking them on and off isn't tough, but it's also not convenient.

You won't color match them to your springs.

 

Chapter 2 of idea 1....

Powdercoat them silver and put some Total Chaos stickers on them.

It was less than $100. Don't remember the exact amount. Pacific industrial supply has decent prices on new steel and good prices on remnants and recycled steel.

 

Disassemble and bring to me, I will bead blast them.
