E92 M3. E92 is the body code for the coupes from 2007-2013 I believe. E90(sedan) and E93(hard top convertible)are also options with the convertible being the heaviest of the 3. The one is the photo has a carbon roof and spoiler which were pretty pricey options and definitely set off the look of the car without coming off cheap and ricey. It's got a 4 liter NA V8 motor and just a little exhaust work(gutted cats/muffler delete)makes this thing loud but it sounds like absolute sex. Making decent HP(mid 300's to the wheels)and has a large aftermarket support.

Other than that all you probably need to know is that BMW service and parts are pricey and you pay for owning a "luxury" vehicle but the handling and smiles per gallon definitely make up for it. ECS tuning is a good resource for parts to do maintenance at home and the M3 has been known to make oil disappear between changes to check it once a week or so and keep a bottle on hand to top it off.

The boyfriend had one which was a blast to drive and I will probably be picking one up after my Cadillac is paid off.
