You could just get a flexible solar panel and use the Velcro with tape on them things. A buddy has one on his hood and drives around like that without any issues. Doesn't look bad either.

Already have a solar panel that came in yesterday from renogy. Trying to figure out the best way to mount it now.

Could always do one of those Renogy suitcase panels?

Just throw out the panels at camp and hook them into the plug and monitor you have mounted in the truck.

Or just build your own with a 100W panel from them?

@ChandlerDOOM are you using those eagle eye lights as rock lights?

Negative, still no rock lights. Just one of those things I've been meaning to do but either haven't got around to it or just really don't want to do the work involved lol.

Once the tray/canopy comes ill be doing a bunch of small lighting stuff so maybe ill knock it out then, I would like to have a second set of "rock" lights in the rear just for camp so I can have a switch in the back instead of having to go back into the cab just to turn on the lights

Yeah my bed, bumper, and shell are all coming off so thats why I am waiting. But lighting on the swing out would be a nice touch.

Not sure what I will use for lights, depends on what I need

Not really, Iggy has a camper thats built onto the factory bed. Mine isn't a camper, and doesn't use the factory bed. The canopy is basically just a large aluminum shell, but with more usable space because you have two massive side doors to access everything easily. It also has 4 jacks to take it off the tray (flatbed) whenever you would like, ideal for setting up a base camp to go out wheeling or even around town if you need to go pick up some large award items

Pictured below is what a canopy looks like

Thanks dude, Not 100% sure what ill use for lights right now. Probably have a strip on the bottom of the door and one on the inside where the outside lip is so it gives light inside and below the open door

That's pretty much what I will be using mine for. Fancy courtesy lights. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the to turn on with the interior lights on unlock.

Yup, these will only be visible with the canopy doors open. But I do want separate rock lights for courtesy lights around the rear of the truck, but on their own switch in the rear so I can still have actual rock lights separate from "courtesy"

Love the new logo btw, Ive yet to come up with a name yet :anonymous:
