I don't see wildlife very often but I wouldn't feed them just for the fact of "fuck you get your own god damn food bear".. I do have to ask, why is it so bad to feed them? Just because it attacks them to campers more and people freak out?

I think I'm home all weekend. Too hot to go anywhere or do anything. Do you have my number? If not just PM me and we'll meet up this weekend and see if we can hunt that rattle down.

Teaches the bear to associate humans with food, so the bear starts to hang out where humans are. That inevitably leads to bad things, usually for the bear, sometimes for the humans.

Kinda what I figured. Thanks. My grandpa always told us when camping not to feed anything that comes to camp. When I asked he'd say "Let them find their own fucking food".

Have someone check your breaker box and ensure the breaker is good still. Check or replace your GFI outlets. I've had one go bad which caused weird issues. They are super easy to replace both. After that it's going to be one hell of a mess trying to figure out what is causing it. Good luck!

Was looking for meat to put in the smoker.

Have got ribs from Costco and Safeway in the past, both were good.
Went back to Costco today for ribs and a tri-tip. Briskets were to big for my lil smoker.

The Pork Shop is a butcher shop?

So, my wife and I's Anniversary is next weekend. We are waiting to see if she can get the 3rd off, if so, we are hoping to head up north and do a little 4 day trip. Was hoping to go see some sites that we have been wanting to check out for some time now, but.. like usual.. in Moses fashion.. we dont plan for shit LOL. SO.. I'm finding out everything is required to have a pass, permit, tour, reservation, etc. trying to keep it cheap(er) so scratch all that nonsense. plus.. there are lead times for passes, etc. so.. not possible due to time anyways.

The plan was to head up to the North Rim, camp, head to Page area, check out Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, The Wave, and a couple other spots. Now I'm thinking its just going to be camping where we can find it (maybe up that way), and just check out everything that's accessible and free.

Any Ideas? up in that area preferably.

I made nearly the same trip in September, no planning.
Horseshoe bend, camped on the side of the road somewhere near the Utah Arizona border. Head into Zion to hike. Permit to park you can buy day of. Certain hikes require permits. Then I headed through Zion to Bryce Canyon and did some short hikes there.

So I understand that people who drive Honda civics go on hikes to see nature and what not, but you folks with built 4x4s I can't fathom why you would walk instead of drive.

What kind of a smoker do you have that's too small. I use a Weber kettle and it's tights. But some amazing food comes of it.

Awesome. That was my backup loop/plan. Definitely want to get up in to Bryce and Zion. maybe We'll do that instead. Head up into Page, stop by Horseshoe, camp at Lone Rock, then head into the Parks.
