I realize that this is kind of a weird thread, but stick with me here as I have a method to my madness.

I noticed in the "what else is in your garage" thread that a lot of 3rd Gen Tacoma owners also had S550 Mustangs. Like, more than what I would think is a coincidence.

My question is, if you had to keep only one, that is, you have to push one off a cliff and have to live with either one or the other, which would it be?

If you had to have one as a daily driver, which would it be?

I have an 2015 Mustang V6 and have been getting the itch for a Tacoma, but can't afford to keep both. I'm having an internal struggle. Hoping to hear from someone that owns both.

The '88 GT in the driveway is hers, no choice for me. I'd add a CJ or a TJ Unltd in heartbeat if I could.

The thing is I use them differently the mustang comes with me to the track, and the taco, exploring.

My first car was a mustang, until some teenager in a large raised....really raised truck went into my line because she couldn't see me and veered me off the side of the road.

I sold my S550 to get into my Tacoma. 6 months in and I don't regret it. I actually have way more fun with my Tacoma.

If it comes down to v6 mustang vs Tacoma it's not a hard choice at all, I'd just get a 2nd gen and then have it supercharged with a 2.85 pulley, even though I think the stock Tacoma would be equal to if not faster than a v6 mustang

Make sure you guys put on the loudest most annoying exhaust you can find and Rev it non stop wherever you are like the rest of the Mustang owners.

That's not just mustang owners, there's an equal amount of civics, camaros, challengers, and corvettes that do it too

Almost every time I drive the Mustang there is some badass in a truck that comes up next to me and revs their engine. My wife has it happen when she drives it also.

I have a loud exhaust but I don't feel the need to hear it unless I am driving.

To complicate things. I have a ~40 mile drive each way to work each day. I do live in Northern Indiana (think Notre Dame). The mustang gets a tad better gas mileage, but the Tacoma would obviously be better during the winter months. Honestly it might come down to which one is the most fun to drive. Obviously having time behind the wheel of the mustang I know what it's all about. I've never driven a Tacoma of any kind before. I had a 98' F-150 back in high school, though I'm sure that's a different animal entirely.
