    They let you take it, anyone here that has a confirmed leak issue was given a vehicle to drive and forced to ground their Tacoma...Tacoma recall.jpg

    They gave my truck back to me no problem. Said as soon as they get the kit in, they will give me a call to install it. Possibly because Mine is a TRD, and they are not on the Recall list yet. I check my vin for that, and the CPS before taking it in. My Vin not listed for either. YET! There was another Guy that had same issue at same dealership 7 days prior, and they let him take his truck with him as well.

    I just had mine in and they replaced the CPS, no recall on differential. I looked anyway, it's bone dry.

    Mine was Texas 4/16 . No problems yet but thinking maybe I should be proactive and change the sucker out as a just in case. And keep the old one as a spare. I spend quite a bit of time back in the bush far from civilization. Think Toyota wants about $180 Cdn for one. Anyone know where one can be had here in Canada for a little better price??

    Do you need to know, or care?
    Enter your VIN on the Toyota site first to see if there is a recall. I hadn't received notice but the dealer checked it for me when it was in for service. They told me to throw out the letter when I get it, still haven't.

    According to our tracking system, the 2018 will be a Carryover without changes. We will know for sure in July.

    Looks like it will stay the same for the Tacoma as well, however I will know for sure by middle July I think. Pretty sure 2019 it will get a new front grill and Toyota Safety Sense.
