Downshift and smash on the go pedal.

Other more expensive options include a supercharger, headers, equal-length Y-pipes, and a few other bolt-ons that may net you few ponies and torques.

I hear if you put a tacomaworld.com sticker on both sides of your truck you'll get double the horse power. Haven't tried it myself since that much horsepower could be lethal and I don't want any trouble.

Short of a turbo, no small to moderate bolt on is going to give you raw, seat of the pants improvements. These arent old V8's, theres not a lot of hidden power in modifying parts.

    Power*

Tacoma's aren't overwhelming even without a load, going downhill with a tailwind.

Too anemic with a trailer? Add gears, add power, or buy new power!

What and where are you towing? Also, are you running large tires?

My truck does fine with 5,000lbs behind it and I tow in the Sierra Nevada Mountains regularly. When going up grades I drop it down to 3rd or 2nd gear and I'm able to maintain 60-65mph. Don't be afraid to make the truck work and try to keep on top of the gear shifts to keep your speed up.

If the V6 doesn't have enough power going up hills, you probably don't have enough... Ah, nevermind. I'm gonna lose this conversation.

Is yours a automatic? Mine is. Tires are only 1 size larger. Thinking about headers and air system but mixed feelings. We live in the white mans in Ariz. 7,000 ft. My trl also weighs 5,000 +

Mines an auto and I'm running 1 size up too @Tacoma Mike O, but most of my towing is around 4,500 to 5,800ft.
