I went from the TSB pack with ToyTec add a leaf, spacers, and axle shims. Sitting @ 24.5 hub to fender.
This weekend I installed the EL096R's with Bilstein 5100's. NO MORE SPACERS!!! Sitting @ 25.5 hub to fender. 4" lift over stock. IMG_1151.jpg I am very happy with the ride as well as the flex!

this is very helpful and thanks for posting.

i have a stock taco, just ordered my leer 100XR, and looking to get the same OME kit you got and wasn't sure what pack i needed. i am an avid mountain biker as well and frequently have anywhere 2-4 bikes on the hitch.

how did it hold up after you tried it all?

glad to hear it is a good stable ride!

I got 1 of 2 today...Think the UPS man said F this noise and split it up. Cause I was suppose to get both today, but I am getting one tomorrow. Super fast shipping though from @HeadStrong Off-Road

UPS dinged it up pretty good, so might be rattle canning it.

I did a real light sanding of everything with extra fine scotchbrite, wiped them down with simple green and then a dry rag to get them as clean as possible and then did a coat of rustoleum primer and then top coated with the Rustoleum "professional" stuff in the tall silver can. After letting everything dry for a couple days I just put the springs back together last night and did one more touch up coat with them assembled this morning. I will try to get some pictures when I get home from work late tonight.

It was my first time using the Rustoleum professional and I am pretty impressed with it. Dried really fast and seems to be pretty tough. I am going to use it as a top coat for my bumpers over top of rattle can bedliner when I do them soon too.

It's no big deal, you might want to put a clamp or something on them when you pull the nut off though, they can bounce apart and scare the shit out of you... so I heard. :anonymous:

My understanding is that the '0' means they are right on spec, and the '-' means slightly under spec (so just a bit softer). A '+' would mean they are slightly over spec. When I got my CS047R's from Wheelers a couple years ago they were both over spec ('+') so it didn't matter which side they went on, but since you have the choice, I'd put the slightly stiffer '0' on the drivers side to combat taco lean.

But I'm not an expert, so people better in the know please correct me if Im wrong about this.
